Procurement Manager

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Manager in Springfield, MO. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our procurement processes. Responsibilities:
• Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
• Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
• Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
• Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
• Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
• Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
• Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
• Use ERP Solutions for better management of procurement processes.• Proven experience in a Procurement Manager role or similar position.
• Knowledge of '3M', 'CapEx', 'ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning', 'ERP Solutions', 'e-sourcing', 'About Time', 'Commodity Management', 'Cost Savings', 'Logistics', 'Materials Handling', and 'Global Supply Chain'.
• Strong understanding of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as an aptitude in reading the market.
• Proficiency in using software for managing procurement processes.
• Ability to strategize and negotiate with key business executives and stakeholders.
• Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
