Position Overview: As a Procurement Buyer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our category strategy and driving supplier relationships to success. Your responsibilities will include conducting analysis, managing supplier interactions, and supporting negotiations to achieve our goals. What You'll Do: Dive into quantitative analysis using tools like Excel to inform strategic decisions. Develop comprehensive category and supplier profiles. Maintain accurate supplier information and support supplier scorecard management. Lead negotiations and cost model development for your assigned categories. Engage stakeholders and support the development of category-specific pipelines. Conduct supply market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends. Execute sourcing projects independently and track procurement performance metrics. Utilize negotiation tools and techniques to achieve optimal outcomes. Manage financial analysis and business cases with expertise. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals. Embrace opportunities for growth and development within the organization. What We're Looking For: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or Business Management preferred). 1+ years of project management experience, demonstrating success in driving initiatives forward. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a decentralized environment. Strong analytical skills and a track record of delivering results. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced setting. Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 20%). What We Prefer: Experience in quantitative analysis beyond basic data entry. Ability to manage supplier relationships and conduct negotiations. Proficiency in SAP/Ariba. Facilitation skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders. Understanding of financial metrics and cost analysis. Familiarity with eProcurement and eSourcing methodology.
