Procurement Manager

Medium sized successful and growing manufacturing company is in search for a Procurement Manager.  The ideal candidate will need a Bachelors Degree, 5+ years as a procurement specialist/purchasing agent/manager in a manufacturing industry and strong negotiating skills.  Responsibilities include collaboration with the VP on the development of procurement strategies, research to provide alternative suppliers, interview each incoming supplier regarding specifications, cost factors and other issues related to procurement equipment, supplies and materials. This person will need to analyze and prepare contracts as well as negotiate terms with suppliers both (Domestic and International). As importantly this person will research quality of goods, warranty deadlines and on time delivery rates.  This is a newly created role as the company continues to grow.  This opportunity is unique and exciting because you can make it your own!  Salary to $120K with bonus and solid benefits.
